Its originality lies in its two large exterior doors. They can be closed for total protection, semi-open, but also completely open (rolled up). This allows large windows to admire the panorama from inside the tent, but also provides excellent ventilation in hot and dry weather.

The floor area, the vertical front and rear walls and the symmetrical design give the Helags 3 a nice volume. The chamber is 185 centimetres wide and 105 centimetres high. Even with 3 mattresses, there is still room at the sides for storing personal belongings. The tent is equipped with two beautiful apses, one of which can be used for storage and the other left free for easy getting in and out.

As always at Hilleberg, the workmanship and quality of the materials are top quality. The fabric is a Kerlon 1000 siliconised on both sides for a high level of waterproofing, abrasion and UV resistance. The 9 mm aluminium hoops are DAC Featherlite.

The double roof and chamber are pre-mounted for quick installation. When it rains, it is possible to mount the rain canopy first to keep the chamber dry, and vice versa when dismantling. The rain canopy can be used on its own to provide a large shelter.
