Sea To Summit Ikos TR2

he Sea To Summit Ikos TR2 is a very spacious tent. The lower part of the chamber is made of full fabric, which offers better protection against the elements, when the wind blows, it avoids the draught effect. The upper part is made of mesh, which allows for better ventilation and saves weight. This chamber is very well suited for 3 season use.

Thanks to its self-supporting dome structure and Tension Ridge top pole with Wingspan design, the Ikos TR2 has a large interior volume with vertical walls. Its doors are high and wide, giving way to a very generous cabin once inside. At ground level it is 135 centimetres wide and 215 centimetres long.

The tent has top ventilation in the Tension Ridge and bottom ventilation under the outer doors. This system ensures optimum ventilation to minimise the risk of condensation. The vents can be opened or closed to suit the weather conditions.

The Ikos TR2 can be mounted in several ways:

• Classically, with the flysheet and chamber. In case of rain, the flysheet can be put up first, and vice versa when dismantled.


• The chamber can be used alone to enjoy the starry sky on warm, dry nights.


• As a minimalist shelter, by installing only the flysheet.


• In Hangout mode using 2 hiking poles or 2 poles (sold separately), to enjoy a spacious and open shelter.

An optional floor mat covering the bedroom and apses is available (sold separately). An optional overhead storage net is also available.
