It's filled with 650 cuin duck down with Nikwax hydrophobic treatment. This treatment offers better heat retention (stays drier and maintains its swelling 30 times longer than untreated down) and fast drying (absorbs 70% less water and dries 3 times faster than untreated down).
Zone insulation with more filling on top than underneath, because when sleeping, your body weight crushes the filling. It is the mattress (not supplied) that provides the insulation and blocks the cold coming from the floor. That's why on the back you can attach the two removable SynergyLink connectors to link your mattress to the Questar 20F/-6C. At night, when you move your mattress will follow you!
Compartmentalized construction with Thermacapture seams for heat gain. This coating (like silent aluminium foil) increases the temperature in the sleeping bag by reflecting radiated body heat.
A large pocket in the foot area (Foot Box) allows you to slide your feet for a consequent heat gain.
