Warranty at Aventure Nordique

At Aventure Nordique, all new products purchased in-store or on aventurenordique.com come with a 2-year warranty. In addition to this warranty, some of our brands offer an additional free warranty, identifiable by the EU harmonised label “GARAN”.

THE 2-YEAR LEGAL WARRANTY

Your warranty rights depend on your country of residence. You are entitled to a minimum 2-year legal warranty within the European Economic Area. This warranty applies to all new products, including accessories.

Garan legal warranty

The 2-year legal warranty protects you if a product purchased from Aventure Nordique turns out to be defective. It starts when you receive the goods if your purchase was made online.
You can claim under this warranty if the product has a manufacturing defect, does not match what was advertised, or does not function as it should under normal conditions of use.

THE COMMERCIAL DURABILITY GUARANTEE

When a product page indicates a warranty period exceeding 2 years, it meets the requirements of the European Union's commercial durability guarantee. A label indicating the number of warranty years is available on the product page, in the “Warranty” section.

GARAN logo

This label certifies the “commercial durability guarantee”, expressed in years. Provided by the manufacturer at no additional cost, it covers the entire product for a period exceeding 2 years. It represents the manufacturer's commitment to the durability of the product: the manufacturer ensures that it will continue to function and meet the expected performance standards under normal conditions of use throughout the period stated on the label.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY

However, certain situations are not covered by the warranty, including:

  • Normal wear and tear resulting from product use (for example, surface wear or worn zippers);
  • Damage caused by improper use, overloading, or failure to follow assembly or maintenance instructions;
  • Damage resulting from repairs, modifications, or the addition of non-original parts or accessories;
  • Damage caused by improper transport, storage, or maintenance;
  • Signs of use, snags, or tears resulting from mishandling the product.

HOW DO I MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM?

If your product develops a fault, please follow these steps to make a warranty claim:

  1. Log in to your “My Account” customer area.
  2. Go to the “My Orders” tab and click on “View My Order”.
  3. Select the defective product.
  4. Click on “Report a problem with this product”.
  5. Complete the form and make sure to attach a file (photo or video) to help our team understand the problem.

When you place an order with us, our team keeps your invoices on file, so you do not need to send us proof of purchase.

However, if your customer account has been deleted, our team will no longer be able to access your invoices. Please keep copies of your invoices if you intend to delete your customer account.
