Apidura Expedition Saddle Pack

The Expedition Saddle Pack from the British brand Apidura, which specialises in cycling accessories, is spacious and waterproof. It is available in different capacities (9, 13 and 16 litres). The Expedition range is particularly robust and designed for long-distance trips, but is also suitable for everyday use.

The 3-layer laminated fabric, specially developed for Apidura (BPA- and PFC-free), is both lightweight and durable. The seams on this bikepacking bag are heat-sealed, so you can ride in the rain or through mud without worrying about the contents inside.

Its storage capacity has been optimised with mesh side pockets for water bottles, whilst the Hypalon compression compartment is ideal for damp items or shoes. A small 3-pin light mount allows you to attach a small safety light.

It attaches easily using wide Velcro strips that run behind the seat post (one for the 9 L model, and two for the 13 L and 16 L models). Two buckle straps attach to the seat rails. These attachment points are made of Hypalon, a material that is resistant to abrasion. This three-point fastening system prevents any movement or swaying, whilst a thermoplastic shell reinforces the shape of the pannier at its base.

This saddle pannier closes by rolling it up and securing it with two buckles. This allows you to adjust the amount of load in the bag.
