Apidura Expedition Downtube Pack 1,5 L

The Expedition Downtube Pack from the British brand Apidura is designed to be fitted beneath your bike’s down tube. It attaches very easily using a Hypalon Velcro strap and is suitable for the vast majority of bikes. This versatile bag can be quickly fitted and removed in a number of different positions. The bag’s asymmetrical base prevents any contact with the chainrings.

The Expedition Downtube Pack (1.5 L) is designed to fit tubes with a circumference of 12 to 18 cm. Apidura advises against fitting it to tubes with a circumference of less than 9.5 cm, such as seat stays and forks.

Made from a 3-layer laminate (PVC- and PFAS-free), the Apidura Expedition Downtube Pack is lightweight, waterproof and durable. Padding at the point where it rests against the frame helps to reduce friction. The entire part of the bag in contact with the frame is made from Hypalon for greater durability, and the seams are heat-sealed for a perfect waterproof seal.

This roll-top bag is ideal for storing small repair kit or a change of clothes for the evening whilst travelling. The roll-top design allows quick access to the contents. Depending on your setup, it can also be used as a ‘bottle holder’ if the usual bottle cage mounts are occupied. It can accommodate water bottles up to 710 ml.
