The Swift V Trekking from Six Moon Designs is an ultra-lightweight backpack for long-distance touring. With its generous volume, it's a featherweight, weighing in at 1020 grams. Its main volume has a capacity of 41 liters + a 10-liter extension. Added to this are external stretch fabric pockets with a total volume of 5 liters.
It's made from Robic nylon. This is a fabric designed specifically for backpacks. It offers an excellent strength-to-weight ratio. The bottom of the backpack has been lined for added strength.
The Swift V Trekking backpack has a large volume with a top-roll opening/closure.
- On top, a strap closes the backpack.
- Inside, there's a removable compartment for a water pouch and a small zipped pocket.
- On the outside, there's a vertical stretch pocket on the sides and a large stretch pocket on the front.
- The waistband offers two additional pockets.
- There's also an ice-axe/stick holder.
Comfort-wise, it features a small Delrin Hoop Stay Frame (removable, 85 g) on the inside to ensure a certain amount of back rigidity. The back height is adjustable, and the waist belt is available in a range of sizes to suit everyone. Six Moon Designs also offers a choice of straps.

- Fight Shoulder Harness: Classically shaped, lightweight, comfortable backpack straps with 4 suspension points to distribute the load (2 shoulder, 2 hip). Includes 2 stretch pockets with drawcord closure (for a 500 ml flask, phone, etc.) and a whistle on the chest strap.
- Fight S-Curve Shoulder Harness: Lightweight, comfortable S-curve backpack straps to clear the chest, with 4 suspension points to distribute the load (2 on shoulders, 2 on hips). Includes 2 stretch pockets with drawcord closure (for a 500 ml flask, phone, etc.) and a whistle on the chest strap.
- Flight Vest Harness: Harness-shaped backpack shoulder straps for greater comfort and portability, with 6 suspension points (2 shoulder, 2 mid-back, 2 hip). Includes 8 pockets: 2 expandable with drawstring closure (for a 500 ml flask, phone, etc.), 2 small mesh pockets, 2 small expandable zipped pockets, 2 small expandable gusseted pockets and 2 chest straps.
