The Tiger Wall UL3 Solution Dye is no exception to the Big Agnes rule: lightweight and quality! A technical and sufficiently protective tent that is completely reasonable in terms of weight in your backpack.
It has everything to please, because in addition to having a lightweight profile, its assembly is fast thanks to the deployment of its unique aluminum arch. What is practical and comfortable is the 2 doors and the 2 vestibules that will make your life easier when hiking: each one has its own entrance and storage space.
The tent is semi-supporting, because at the back, in order to stretch the tent properly, it requires the use of 2 pegs. In itself, this is not a problem, because it already stands on its own and in reality, you have to make compromises.
The Tiger Wall UL3 Solution Dye has storage pockets in the corners and on the ceiling of the inner chamber.
This double-wall tent has a mesh fabric interior that promotes air circulation and limits the natural phenomenon of condensation. The double roof covers the inner chamber and protects against wind and rain (waterproofing index of 1200 mm as for the floor of the chamber).
Big Agnes has thought of all the details:
- Double zip fasteners on the inside doors.
- Double zip on the apses doors to "play" with the ventilation: high or low position.
- Single pole arch structure for easy assembly. The design offers a beautiful interior space for this minimalist shelter.
- Can be mounted in "Tarp Fast and Fly" mode, i.e. only with the double roof, but requires the footprint to be purchased separately.
