Carinthia Observer plus

Carinthia's Observer Plus is a shelter with Gore-Tex membrane designed for 1 person. It is self-supporting thanks to its 2 hoops that cross at the head, although 6 pegs (not supplied) can be planted for greater wind resistance. With a width of 104 cm and a length of 240 cm, this bivy allows you to store your belongings inside, and even to change clothes, although you have to be careful with your movements.

Whatever the weather, you're guaranteed to stay dry thanks to the Gore-Tex 3-layer laminated membrane. This is waterproof and windproof but breathable. Oxygen and dioxygen are exchanged between inside and outside, reducing internal condensation. The Arid Lite Air membrane also provides better insulation against the cold and is ideal for humid and rainy environments.

The Observer plus has 2 doors. One on the side for direct access to your sleeping bag, and one on the front. Both are lined with mosquito netting, partial for the side door and complete for the front door. This allows you to create good ventilation. The front door is protected by a visor, so if it's been a wet night, the drops will fall on the outside of the bivi and the inside will stay dry. These two viewing angles are an asset for military and nature photographers on the prowl.
