The opinion of Aventure Nordique

The Salomon Outside BC boots are designed for Nordic ski touring. They feature a sturdy, protective outer shell and a removable liner that provides comfort and warmth.

These waterproof boots have an outsole that provides good traction when walking and are reinforced at the toes, heels, and sides.

For optimal support, Salomon has incorporated a dual-fastening system:

The lower section features a Quicklace lacing system that secures the heel.

The upper section features a wide Velcro strap.

These dual zones ensure a precise fit for your feet inside the boots. Fastening them is easy, even with gloves or mittens.

The warm liners are a real selling point; they’re thermoformable and removable! You can let them dry at the mountain hut and walk around in them inside your shelter.

The sole is compatible with all NNN BC & Salomon Outside BC bindings.

Points to remember

Nordic hiking boots that offer excellent comfort. The inner lining is a real “game-changer”! Whether you’re at a campsite, in a mountain hut, or after a wet hike, you can finally dry out the inside of the boot so you’re ready to hit the trail again the next day. The outsole will help you walk safely on snow-free sections of the trail.
