The Leopard FL from Petzl are a pair of 10-point crampons designed for hiking on snow, for approach walks, and for crossing névé... They provide a very good grip even on hard snow. They are an essential safety element for outings exposed to the risk of slipping and falling. They provide a much better grip than chain type anti-skid.
They are made entirely of aluminum to guarantee extreme lightness, with a highly resistant Cord-Tex cord made of Dyneema (high density polyethylene). This allows you to adjust the size of the crampons to your shoes. They have a strap fastening system that adapts to all types of hiking and approach boots without protruding. Adjustment is simple and does not require any tools. This flexible connection also allows for optimum compactness when stored in their protective cover.
