The Flash Pack Pocket is an external mesh pocket that attaches to the outside of Exped Lightning backpacks. Plastic hooks allow the Flash Pocket to be easily attached to the backpack. The airy mesh side of the pocket allows you to store a tent liner or wet rain gear to dry out during your hike. The other side, made of 100D triple Ripstop nylon, provides ideal protection against the elements. Simple and practical.

The mesh pocket works as advertised, but in my view is actually a little too big. My concern is that in thick bush the edges will snag - to be fair though, I haven't yet put it to the test
