Aura BAZ 800/800

The Aura BAZ 800/800 is a cold weather sleeping bag filled with 800 grams of quality Polish goose down, 800 cuin. The down is divided into compartments in a cross pattern to maximise thermal insulation. It has an oval shape and a wide cut, allowing you to sleep with clothes on.

It is accessed from the top with a half-moon zip. With two sliders, it is possible to put out the arms while still in the closed sleeping bag. This choice, which may come as a surprise, greatly improves the insulation of the sleeping bag, as a zip is a thermal sieve. The zipper and the foot zipper are lined with an anti-cold flap with Climashield synthetic insulation. The face collar is also insulated with this fibre. The Climashield is strategically placed where moisture (especially from breathing) is present to provide better resistance than down.

This sleeping bag is made on top with an outer fabric made of Pertex Quantum. This is an ultra-light, durable (ripstop) and water-repellent (DWR) fabric. On the underside and at the ends, it is made of a Toray Delfy fabric. This two-layer membrane offers a waterproofness level of 10,000 mm water column and a breathability of 10,000 H²O/m². The interior is made of Pertex Polygiene, a soft touch fabric coated with silver ions, which have antibacterial properties and prevent odour formation.
