Savotta Medic pack 18 L

The Medic pack 18 L from the Finnish brand Savotta is a backpack with a wide range of features, such as a medical kit or other accessories to suit every need. It was specially developed for the Finnish army.

It features 3 pockets:

• A main pocket with full-length zip opening. The inside back has loops for Velcro pockets. On the flap side, 2 zippered mesh pockets for storing flat items (survival blankets, etc.).


• A single-zip bottom pocket. When not in use, it can be fully compressed with 2 straps.


• A flat front pocket.

All pockets have two-zip zippers with long, thick cords. This makes it easy to open the bag quickly, even when wearing gloves.

On the back, a closed-cell foam pad holds the bag in place. It is easily removable and can be used as a side pad or to kneel comfortably. A thermal blanket can be slipped over the cushion.

Just like Savotta, the Medic pack offers a wide range of attachment options. 6 straps with buckles can be used to compress the bag when it's not full and/or to attach items to the outside. PALS straps on the front and sides offer a wide range of possibilities for storing equipment and attaching removable pockets.

The bag also features :

• 1000 or 500 denier Cordura fabric


• removable padded shoulder straps


• adjustable chest strap


• 3 handles for easy carrying (a double top handle and two side handles)


• water drainage eyelets in main and lower compartments


• a medical cross for quick identification of the bag (possibility of attaching a badge or similar)
