GearAid's Cure Accelerator X is a gas pedal designed to reduce the drying time of urethane adhesives such as Aquasure+FD, Aquasure+SR, Seam Grip+WP. Mixed with the adhesive before application, it cuts curing time by a factor of three: the adhesive sets in around 15 minutes, and the repair is completely dry in 2 to 4 hours instead of 12.
This additive is ideal for quick repairs in the field or when traveling, when it's necessary to quickly put a neoprene suit back into service, improve the watertightness of a hiking tent, or repair shoes.
Once dry, the result is a flexible, waterproof, abrasion-resistant rubber layer that can follow the movements of textile or neoprene without cracking or peeling.
Versatile, Cure Accelerator adheres to all types of outdoor fabrics, including neoprene, rubber, nylon, canvas and vinyl.
