Gossamer Kumo 36 Superlight Backpack

The Gossamer Kumo 36 Superlight Backpack is an ultralight, frameless backpack designed for minimalist hikers. It features a 28-liter main compartment with a roll-top closure and a flap, plus pockets and mesh panels that add 8 liters of storage:

• 1 stretch mesh exterior pocket


• 2 exterior pockets with elastic straps


• 1 zippered pocket


• 2 stretch mesh pockets on the shoulder straps


• 2 stretch mesh pockets on the hip belt

Drawcords allow you to compress and secure your gear. A trekking pole loop, ice axe loop, and water bladder loop are also included.

The back panel features a mesh pocket containing a 71-gram SitLight foam pad. Flexible, breathable, and removable, it provides cushioning between your back and the gear inside the backpack. Easy to remove and reinsert, it can also be used as a seat cushion or pillow. Made of closed-cell foam, it does not absorb water. The 94-gram hip belt is also removable.
