The Mariposa 60 Backpack by Gossamer is an ultralight backpack with a metal frame, designed for minimalist hikers. Its volume consists of a 36-liter main compartment with a hood that adapts to the capacity of the backpack, as well as pockets and mesh adding 24 liters:
- 1 zippered pocket at the top
- 3 side pockets
- 2 zippered pockets on the waist belt
- 1 expandable mesh pocket on the front
Straps allow you to compress and secure your gear. There is also a pole holder, ice axe holder, and water bladder holder.
The back has a mesh pocket with a SitLight foam insert. Flexible, breathable, and removable, it provides cushioning between your back and the gear in your backpack. Easy to remove and replace, it can also be used as a seat cushion or pillow. Made from closed-cell foam, it does not absorb water.
