Helsport Varanger Dome 4-6

The Varanger Dome 4-6 from Helsport is a base camp tent in the shape of a dome that can accommodate between 4 and 6 people. It can be used all year round and in all conditions. An opening for a chimney allows a stove to be installed for winter bivouacs. The Varanger Dome 4-6 can be used as a touring tent, base camp or camping tent.

This tent is easy to erect thanks to 4 poles that slide into the canvas sleeves. It is self-supporting and can be set up on any terrain. The 3 large doors allow you to adjust the number of openings depending on the wind direction and external conditions. They are all lined with mosquito netting. If the weather is bad and you need to retreat inside, 2 windows allow you to see what is going on outside.

With its dome shape, the Varanger Dome 4-6 offers very good habitability. There is no central pole and the 4 poles allow for optimal tensioning of the tent fabric. With a height of 160 centimetres and a diameter of 345 centimetres, there is plenty of space for storing equipment. It has several air vents and an easily adjustable cap to achieve the right degree of ventilation.

The tent is sold with the poles, but the chamber and groundsheet are optional.
