Klymit's Inertia X Frame mattress is lighter and more compact than competing air mattresses!
The principle behind the Inertia X Frame mattress is simple: it provides support and comfort only in the areas that are most in demand during sleep. This is the Klymit "body mapping" system. The direction and positioning of the plungers are designed to adapt to the sleeper's morphology. The empty parts allow the sleeping bag to retain its loft and full thermal capacity. The insulation is not compressed under the weight of the body. With this method, the sleeping bag really insulates!
This system optimizes comfort at compression points and insulation at the back. Klymit offers an ultra-light, extremely compact mattress for 3-season use. The Inertia X Frame has the volume of a soda can!
For greater efficiency, the Inertia X Frame is ideally positioned inside the sleeping bag. This keeps the mattress in place under your body at all times.
The Klymit features the Flip Ventil flat valve for easy inflation and deflation of the mattress. This flat valve is compatible with the Klymit Pump Sack (sold separately).
The mattress is made from 75-denier polyester on the base and 30-denier Ripstop nylon on the sleeping face. These materials offer good abrasion and puncture resistance.
