The Lifestraw Peak Series Gravity Filter System With Safe Water Storage 8L + 8L is a gravity feed water filtration system. Compact and lightweight, it offers a fast filtration rate for a 8 liter capacity. It reduces heavy metals, including lead, bacteria, parasites, microplastics and organic chemicals such as pesticides and herbicides. It makes your water drinkable. Does not remove viruses. It is ideal for filtering water while hiking and camping.
It can be used with the gravity bag provided, or as a straw or attached to a hydration system or plastic water bottle.
This gravity water filter is composed of a 0.2 micron hollow fiber membrane that eliminates 99.9999% of bacteria (E.Coli, cholera, salmonella...) and 99.99% of protozoan parasites (giardia, cryptosporidia...) and 99.999% of microplastics, silt, sand that can contaminate the water.
The filtering element has a life span of 2000 liters and 3 months of use for the activated carbon caspule (100 L).
