LillSport Atla Polar Mitt

The Atla Polar Mitt from Swedish brand LillSport is a pair of robust mittens developed in cooperation with the Norwegian Reindeer Police. Patrolling on snowmobiles, the Finnmark police have a very high specification when it comes to warmth. This mitt is designed to withstand winter weather and the most extreme cold. The exterior of the mitt is made entirely of cowhide. This makes it extremely durable, abrasion resistant, moisture resistant and windproof. The interior is lined with Thermovadd insulation and micro-fleece.

The cuff has a tightening strap at the wrist for a secure fit and an elasticated drawstring at the opening to prevent snow or cold air from entering.

Inside is a second woolen mitt for extra warmth. A thick 100% knitted wool lining, very warm, which retains its insulating properties even when wet. Attached by velcro (not visible on the presentation photo), it is removable and can be used independently.
