Nortent Gamme 6 Tent

The 6 Tent range from Norwegian manufacturer Nortent is a 4-season expedition tent that sleeps 6 with a woodstove, or 4 with the use of the bedroom. The inner chamber and groundsheet are sold separately. This spacious dome-shaped tent is inspired by the cabins of the Sami, the indigenous people of Lapland. It has a height of 1.85 metres and a diameter of 3.70 metres.

Thanks to 5 aluminium poles, the tent is self-supporting, robust and wind-resistant. Up to 10 guy ropes can be added if required. Its design makes it resistant to the weight of snow. This 4-season tent also has snow skirts for a better fit. Setting up the tent is quick and easy, even for a single person. The outer tent can be pitched first, followed by the inner chamber, to keep it dry when pitching in bad weather.

Its 7.6 kilograms have been designed to offer the best quality/durability/waterproofing ratio. The 70 denier ARCX-N700 fabric has been developed by Nortent. This silnylon has been siliconised on both sides to make it resistant and waterproof with a water column of 3000 millimetres. To make the tent perfectly waterproof, you'll need to waterproof the seams with SeamGrip +SIL. Dyneema reinforcements are fitted in the most exposed places.

The Gamme 6 Tent has 4 air vents at the top and 2 large ones at the bottom. This creates good air circulation, preventing condensation and allowing the use of a woodstove.
