Nortent Gamme 8 Tent PC

The 8 Tent PC range from Norwegian brand Nortent is a spacious, ultra-strong 4-season tent for 8 people. Its spherical shape is inspired by the Norwegian huts of the indigenous Sami people. The 8 PC range is made from polycotton. This material combines the qualities of cotton (breathability, waterproofing) and polyester (strength, lightness). The lower part of the tent is made of polyester only, to prevent rising damp from the ground through capillary action in the cotton.
This tent is sold without an inner chamber, but the technical qualities of polycotton limit condensation and humidity, so the chamber that allows you to get away from damp walls is less necessary.

Ventilation is also an important factor when it comes to condensation. The Gamme 8 has 6 air vents: 4 at the top to evacuate humid air and 2 large ones at the bottom to let air in. The Gamme 8 is stove-compatible, and the 2 large vents at the bottom ensure an important supply of oxygen during use. The 2 doors are lined with mosquito netting, for extra ventilation or to enjoy the scenery while keeping biting insects at bay.

This tent features 5 aluminum poles (15.2 millimeters in diameter) that ensure a very spacious interior volume (216 centimeters high by 432 centimeters in diameter) and good snow resistance. It is self-supporting and fitted with 14 stakes for solid anchoring. If required, 10 guy wires can be added and snow skirts used to withstand the windiest conditions.
It can be assembled by a single person.
