The Outdoor Research Bug XT Bivy is a bivy sack made from an ultralight mesh fabric. It offers excellent breathability and protects against insects. Its floor is made of waterproof 40-denier nylon.

It sets up quickly and provides excellent protection. Setup is easy and fast (1 pole), then simply slide your sleeping bag inside. The bivy can be secured to the ground using stakes and/or guy lines (attached to a tree).

Depending on the weather, you can use it on its own to sleep under the stars, or under a tarp when it rains.

Points to remember

The Bug XT Bivy bag lets you sleep under the stars while staying protected from insects. It takes up very little floor space. It weighs just 464 grams.
