Lundhags Makke Ms Pant

The Makke Ms Pant from Swedish brand Lundhags is a pair of trousers designed for adventure. With their close-fitting cut, they are extremely comfortable. The materials used vary according to their location, to make them more comfortable to wear and more resistant.

Stretch in the buttocks and knees improves flexibility when you're on the move.

On the front and thighs, a blend of organic cotton and recycled polyester offer strength and durability.

Scholler-Keprotec reinforcements protect the bottom of the trousers when the terrain is abrasive. These reinforcements are made from Kevlar fibre and are naturally resistant to abrasion and tearing.

The trousers have two groin pockets and two thigh pockets. The latter are gusseted, so they have plenty of volume. Zips secure all the pockets, and the right thigh pocket has an internal phone pocket. The lining is mesh for better ventilation.

There are ventilation holes on the inside of the thighs.

A large opening at the bottom of the legs makes it easy to slip the trousers on, even when wearing heavy shoes. Three press studs allow precise width adjustment at the ankle, and a hook on the laces keeps the trousers securely in place.

The waistband has two Velcro fastenings for fine adjustment, plus belt loops.

And for the record, the name Makke comes from the Makkene mountain, a peak almost 1,300 metres high in Offerdal in Jämtland, Sweden.
