Alpenglow Gear Alpenblow Lux

The Alpenblow Lux from Alpenglow Gear is a miniature pump that fits in the palm of your hand. To achieve its exceptionally light weight of 13.8 grams, it has no built-in battery. To use it, you must connect it either to a portable power bank or to your phone via a USB-C port (your phone must be capable of power delivery).

Inflating a standard-sized mattress (183 x 51 x 7 centimeters) takes about 95 seconds, and the pump is quiet, at just 43 dBa. Various valve adapters are included with the pump, allowing you to use it with leading mattress brands: Therm-a-Rest (Winglock valve), Nemo, Exped, Big Agnes, Sea To Summit…

Equipped with 2 small LED lights and combined with the Lantern Leash (sold separately), the Alpenblow Lux becomes a lantern. Attach your Igneous Nobo Bottle, Cnoc ThruBottle, or Mazama M!go Bottle to diffuse the light softly.

Pressing the triangular logo changes the pump’s mode:

1. Inflate/deflate; the LEDs turn on once the mattress is inflated and air is no longer flowing


2. Low-brightness lights


3. Medium-brightness lights


4. High-brightness lights


5. Flashing light, candle mode


6. 30-minute white noise generator, emits a “white sound” designed to help you fall asleep or relax


7. 30-minute wave sound generator, soothing effect of ocean waves


8. Off, or unplug at any time
