Thermarest Vela Double 32F/0C

The Vela Double 32F/0C by Thermarest is a 650 cuin hydrophobic duck down quilt. Weighing less than one kilogram, this quilt for two people is very light and is recommended for nights up to 5°C. A bulge partitioned all around avoids draughts. The bottom forms a footbox, so that the feet stay snugly inside the quilt. The Taffeta fabric is very soft and pleasant to the touch.

The quilt has snap fasteners on the sides to attach it to your mattress using the Mattress Loop Kit (sold separately). Two zippered pockets are located on the top outside. It comes with a storage cover and a carry bag.

The Vela Double 32F/0C quilt can be used on its own or in addition to a sheet (meat bag), a sleeping bag... to create a multi-layer system. This provides a versatile sleeping system covering a wide range of temperatures. For example, by combining it with a Questar 20F/-6C (0°C comfort temperature) sleeping bag from Thermarest, you can achieve a comfort temperature of approximately -7°C.

To insulate yourself from the cold of the ground, it can be combined with a double insulated mattress (or two single mattresses) measuring maximum 104 cm at foot level, so that it can fit in the footbox.
