The Sierra Designs Backcountry Bivy 3000 is a bivouac overpack that protects from wind, rain, dust and mosquitoes. The waterproof and breathable fabric is made of 20 denier Ripstop Nylon with a water column equivalent of 10000 mm for the top and 30 denier Ripstop Nylon of 3000 mm for the bottom. All seams are fully sealed.
Its volume allows it to be fitted with a sleeping bag and an inflatable mattress (5 cm). It has a large U-shaped opening for easy access. This opening includes a double flap, one of which is a mosquito net to protect against insects.
