Six Moon Designs Deschutes Tarp is a shelter for 1 person. Closed at 360°, it offers total protection against rain, unlike a traditional tarp. Very compact and ultra-light, it is made of 20 denier silicone coated nylon, with a 3000 mm waterproof water column.
It is easily mounted using a pole (sold separately) or hiking stick, as well as 6 pegs (sold separately). Mounting with your hiking stick allows you to share your equipment and thus optimize the weight of your backpack. Spacious for one person, it has a nice height and its surface is large enough to accommodate your equipment. Its large door facilitates access and the ventilation window at the top of the mast provides ventilation.
For insect protection, Deschutes Tarp can be combined with the Serenity NetTent mosquito net (sold separately).
