Six Moon Designs Gatewood Cape Bundle

Six Moon Designs' Gatewood Cape Bundle poncho-tarp protects you from rain during the day while walking and at night. Whether in poncho or tarp mode, it offers total protection. Unlike a traditional poncho, it does not have long slits on the sides. The arm openings and the dual-curseur zipper provide ventilation. Snaps are used to shorten the length of the fabric on its longest side, so as not to cause discomfort when walking.

It is combined with the Serenity NetTent mosquito net chamber. This shelter allows you to spend nights under the stars in dry weather, while being protected from snakes, mosquitoes and other crawling and flying insects. Its hexagonal shape provides a small storage space inside for a few personal belongings. Its large, oversized door facilitates entry and exit. Its perimeter is raised by 8 centimetres to prevent the screen sticking to your face when you're lying down.

Once mounted with a hiking stick or pole (sold separately), it offers the same protection as a closed tarp. The pole or stick is positioned pointing upwards and anchored in a removable mini harness. This one is easily dismountable with a set of colors. It ensures a better support of the tarp in the wind and makes the unit more resistant. The pyramidal design of the tarp easily eliminates rain, snow and wind. Depending on the weather conditions, it is possible to adjust the height of the canvas in relation to the ground to increase ventilation.

The Gatewood Cape Bundle is equipped with:
