The filling of high quality goose down, certified RDS (Responsible Down Standard), offers great performance in terms of lightness and comfort:

To save weight, Exped has designed a perfect fit and uses light fabrics: 10 denier nylon on the inside, 15 denier on the outside. The cut of the Ultra -5° is slim but takes into account the need for space in the shoulder and elbow areas. The last foot compartment is generous for comfort and warmth.

DownShift continuous wall construction without side chambers: by eliminating the side walls that separate the upper and lower chambers, the bottom of the bag can be adjusted to increase (using an insulated pad) or decrease warmth. This means that the filling can be transferred according to your needs. For example, by moving it to the bottom, it is possible to ensure optimal comfort in warm weather.

The 11 compartments keep you warm, as does the adjustable cold protection collar and the double flap of the zip that prevents cold air from passing through. The zipper goes all the way down to the penultimate compartment, so on the warmest nights you can open it completely and use it as a duvet with your feet in the footbox.
