The opinion of Aventure Nordique
With the Mobile Mummy 15, Sierra Design has designed a sleeping bag that will satisfy active hikers during the night. Its multiple openings allow to take out arms and legs according to your needs. On each side, it is possible to take out the arms very simply thanks to openings with isolated flaps, without zippers or velcro. The large central zipper facilitates the ventilation of the sleeping bag and goes up relatively high under your nose. It can be opened from the bottom to allow your legs to get out easily. Again, to prevent cold air from seeping in, an insulated flap is nestled behind the large zipper opening.
Sierra Design went quite far in the design details to offer you a good habitability. You can fold up the bottom of the sleeping bag and attach it to your back when your legs are out thanks to two small clips on the left and right. It can be used as a down jacket when bivouacking.
With a good inflating power of 800 cuin, this model has a comfort temperature of -3°C. The well-covered hood and the collar that goes over your shoulders will compartmentalize your down and avoid air infiltration.
