Snugpak Ionosphère

The Snugpak Ionosphere is a single person, tunnel style tent with an interior chamber and a rain fly. This solo shelter is known, appreciated and used by bushcrafters and military personnel who need a protective, discreet and durable tent.

The Ionosphere is light, compact and easy to set up. Indeed, its tunnel shape, its 2 poles make the installation easy and fast. This tent has a mesh chamber, protecting against flying and crawling insects, while promoting air circulation. The floor insulates you from moisture with PU coated nylon (5000mm water column). The rain cover is made of Rispstop polyester with a high waterproof rating of 5000 mm.

The Ionosphere has an entrance. Inside, the shape of the shelter allows you to slide a ground mattress to sleep and to store your equipment.

To set up, you first have to put up the inner tent, then come and position the flysheet. In warm weather, it is possible to set up only the inner room in order to enjoy the starry nights while being protected from mosquitoes.
