SlingFin Portal 1

The Portal 1 from Californian brand SlingFin is an ultra-light 3-season tent. Made from top-quality materials, it features a double-sided siliconised Nylon 6-6 Ripstop fly, offering more durable waterproofing than a polyurethane coating. Its structure is made up of two DAC Featherlite NSL poles.

The Portal 1 tent can be reinforced to offer greater resistance to wind and to support the weight of snow, and is therefore classified as a 4-season tent. The inside of the chamber has attachment points for guy ropes in the corners. This internal guy rope system strengthens the structure and provides extra stability for just a few grams. Similarly, loops on the inside of the flysheet allow the fabric to be quickly attached to the poles. To withstand snow, you can reinforce the structure by attaching hiking poles to the ends of the overhead arch, using the OutRigger attachment system.

The tent has six large storage pockets and two large doors for easy entry and exit. The outer doors are fitted with ventilation crutches to promote air circulation.
