SlingFin Portal 3

The Portal 3 from the Californian brand SlingFin is an ultra-lightweight 3-season tent. Made with ultra-lightweight premium martial arts, it features a double roof made of Nylon 66 Ripstop siliconized on both sides, inside and out, offering a more durable waterproofing than a polyurethane coating. Its structure is made up of two DAC Featherlite NSL hoops with a diameter of 9.3 mm.

The Portal 3 tent can be reinforced to offer more wind resistance and to support the weight of snow, and is therefore classified as a 4-season tent. The inside of the chamber has attachment points for guy ropes in the corners. This internal guying system strengthens the structure and provides more stability for only a few grams. Similarly, loops located on the inside of the flysheet allow the canvas to be quickly attached to the hoops. To support the snow, it is possible to reinforce the structure by attaching hiking poles to the ends of the roof arch with the OutRigger attachment system.

The tent is spacious and can accommodate 3 people. It has six large storage pockets and two wide doors for easy entry and exit. The outside doors are equipped with ventilation handles to allow air circulation.
