Alfa Free A/P/S GTX M

The Alfa Free A/P/S GTX M is a Nordic backcountry boot adapted to the Rottefella Xplore binding system. It is the most successful and innovative model from the Norwegian brand. These boots provide comfort, stability and good directional properties.

The Xplore sole is designed to be sufficiently flexible vertically while being stiffer horizontally to limit lateral twisting. The SpringSpin front attachment device makes it very easy to snap the shoe into the binding, and removal is also very easy. It consists of two spring-loaded spikes that are inserted into the front claw of the binding. The positioning of the pins provides the best possible travel and optimal control of the skis.

The integrated AISS support in the boot provides better ankle support in the boots, allowing for optimal ski control.

The technologies, the design combining stiffness and "light flex" in the sole allows for great freedom of movement while optimizing directional stability. With the Free, the descent becomes safer and more stable and conversely on the flat and uphill, the walk is facilitated, thanks to the natural and released roll of the foot.

The BOA tightening system allows for fine adjustment of the tension, adapted to your feet. This technology is very easy to use even with gloves. This reliable system allows you to avoid the inconvenience of traditional lacing without having to use heavier micrometric buckles. The lacing is composed of two separate Boa tensions, one tightening the bottom of the foot and the other tightening around the ankle and lower calf. You can easily adjust it according to your feet, but also according to the technicality of the terrain (looser on the flat and tighter downhill).
