The opinion of Aventure Nordique
The Alfa Skaget Perform W is a warm Nordic backcountry boot made of natural leather. This Suede leather is made from the inner side of the animal skin, which is softer and more supple than a full-grain outer skin layer. The advantage of leather is that it is naturally water repellent and breathable.
This boot has a slightly higher upper than other Alfa models for added protection. It has a thermally insulated midsole and an anatomical insole. It comes with extra large laces to adjust to your foot strike.
These BC boots are equipped with the Rottefella Xplore system for stability in ski control and a natural and comfortable foot roll.
The Xplore sole is designed to be flexible enough vertically while being stiffer horizontally to limit lateral torsion. The SpringSpin front attachment system makes it easy to snap the boot into the binding and easy to remove. It consists of two spring-loaded spikes that are inserted into the front claw of the binding. The positioning of the pins offers the best possible travel and optimal control of the skis.
The fit in the boots is spacious and allows for thick socks to be worn while maintaining good circulation.

Size Guide: To easily measure the length of the foot, place a piece of paper against the wall. Then place the foot (barefoot or with a thin sock) on the paper with the heel against the wall. It is important to stand upright when measuring. Put a line in front of the longest toe and measure with a ruler. Measure both feet; it is not uncommon for one foot to be larger than the other. Round up to the nearest integer to find your size. |
