The opinion of Aventure Nordique
The Alfa Vista Advance GTX W are Nordic backcountry boots with the Rottefella Xplore system. These backcountry skiboots are warm, sturdy and made from full grain natural leather. These BC boots are equipped with the Rottefella Xplore system for good stability in ski control and a natural and comfortable foot roll.
The Xplore sole is designed to be flexible enough vertically while being stiffer horizontally to limit lateral torsion. The SpringSpin front attachment system makes it easy to snap the boot into the binding and easy to remove. It consists of two spring-loaded spikes that are inserted into the front claw of the binding. The positioning of the tips provides the best possible travel and optimal ski control.
The leather is a real argument in favor of these Nordic touring boots. It is maintained with a simple wax nourishment. Leather is by nature water resistant and breathable. Thanks to leather, you can go on a long-distance Nordic raid. In addition, the insulating, waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex membrane keeps your feet warm and dry.
The fit in the shoes is spacious and allows you to put on thick socks while maintaining good blood circulation.
The construction of the boots and the combination of materials make this boot comfortable, provide the necessary support, for a good driving of the skis.
The lacing system allows for a close fit. A stone guard around the boot protects it from the roughness of the terrain and from edge damage. An external reinforcement on the heel adds rigidity to this backcountry model.

Size Guide: To easily measure the length of the foot, place a piece of paper against the wall. Then place the foot (barefoot or with a thin sock) on the paper with the heel against the wall. It is important to stand upright when measuring. Put a line in front of the longest toe and measure with a ruler. Measure both feet; it is not uncommon for one foot to be larger than the other. Round up to the nearest integer to find your size. |
