X-Skin 45mm is produced in mohair material from Colltex in Switzerland. X-skin can be used on all Åsnes skis with a skin insert. The climbing skin is made of 100% Mohair for optimal speed and grip. For improved performance, we recommend impregnating the skins with wax or skin impregnation, which will provide better glide and reduced friction.

Short climbing skin from Åsnes are delivered in a practical bag customized for X-skin, which can be attached to your backpack or belt. The bag has perforated fabric on the bottom, which ensures that the skin dries and the water flows out of the bag.

45 mm is well suited for the wide BC models.

Åsnes short skin is equipped with a skin-protector in front to avoid ice/snow filling the skin and to secure the skin on long distances.
