Cumulus The Quilt 450

The Cumulus Quilt 450 is the ideal solution for fans of lightweight hiking. It offers the same benefits as a traditional sleeping bag (comfort) with the added bonus of being lightweight. The concept is to minimise the weight of the sleeping bag whilst optimising thermal performance. The result is a sleeping bag without a hood and open at the back. Cumulus operates on the principle that in a traditional sleeping bag, the sleeper compresses the filling. As a result, the filling no longer fulfils its insulating role. In the Quilt concept, it is the mattress that provides good insulation.

The Quilt 450 is a compromise between a sleeping bag and a blanket/duvet, whilst offering two options:

• Either fasten it at the back using the straps,


• Either secure it to the mattress (using straps – tucking it in like a duvet).

When used this way, you no longer have to worry about cold draughts! Especially as this model is fitted with a clip that allows you to fasten it at the neck. The zip at the foot end and the elasticated hem allow you to convert it into a duvet.

Lightness is guaranteed by the quality of the materials used by the Polish manufacturer: 450 grams of 900 cuin European goose down filling, with a 7-denier Toray Airstatic nylon outer shell (lightweight and breathable).
