Exped Orion II UL

The Exped Orion II UL is an ultra-lightweight, self-supporting tent for 2 people. With its low weight it can be used for long journeys on foot or by bike.

Thanks to its hybrid shape between a tunnel and a dome tent, it is self-supporting and spacious. It has 2 doors and 2 apses offering enough space to store your equipment and everyone can have their own storage space.

Thanks to its shape and the pole system, the tent has an aerodynamic shape and a very good stability in windy conditions. It also allows for a very high interior space (130cm), which is always appreciated.

Colour coding makes assembly easy. For better protection, the dark green cords are placed facing the wind and the orange cords on the opposite side to the prevailing wind.

The mosquito nets in the inner tent and the two ventilation domes located opposite each other on the flysheet reduce the formation of condensation by strengthening the chimney effect.

On mild nights the inner chamber can be erected without the flysheet to enjoy the stars away from the mosquitoes.

There are many storage spaces in the tent: a removable hanging net to keep a lamp, handkerchief, etc. at hand. Pockets near the doors can hold a book, notebook, headlamp or glasses.
