The opinion of Aventure Nordique

The Exped Orion III Extreme is a 4-season tent designed for year-round use, i.e. intensive use. This robust and durable bivouac shelter will accompany you in all weather conditions including expeditions. The tent has an inner chamber and a protective rain fly. The interior is designed for 3 people.

The Orion III Extreme is a gable tunnel tent. Its hybrid shape is somewhere between a tunnel tent and a dome tent. Self-supporting and spacious, it has 2 doors and 2 apses offering enough room to store your gear. Inside, the Gear Loft can store small equipment.

Thanks to its shape and the pole system, the tent is aerodynamically shaped so that neither ice nor rain can stick to the outer fabric. In case of bad weather, numerous loops for tensioning are available to secure the tent. Easy to set up thanks to color codes.

Solidity, sturdiness and resistance to bad weather is possible thanks to the design and robust materials (Dac Featherlite NSL poles and 40 denier ripstop nylon for the rain fly).
