Black Diamond Distance 1500

Black Diamond's Distance 1500 is a powerful headlamp. Comfortable and with a battery that lasts for over 6 hours at 300 lumens, it can be used for night-time ski raids or ultra-trails.

Weighing just 213 grams, it features a faceted lens that provides a wide, deep illumination of up to 800 lumens in constant light. In case of need, at a trail junction for example, it features a PowerTap mode that automatically increases power to 1500 lumens (117 meters visibility) for a duration of 10 seconds. This duration can, of course, be set differently to suit your needs.

The intensity of the Distance 1500 is easily adjusted using the 2 buttons (which can be locked during daytime transport). Several colors are available: red, blue, green, as well as a flashing mode and an SOS mode. At an intensity of 300 lumens, the battery lasts for 6 hours.

The battery is attached to the back of the headband by a magnetic system. A battery level indicator is located on top, and the battery also features lighting with different modes: 2 flashing red modes, a fixed red mode and a fixed white mode. As well as seeing, you can also be seen! The battery pack is interchangeable for high-intensity use over long periods.

The battery recharges completely in 1 hour 45 minutes via an included USB-C cable. A carrying bag and storage pouch are also included.

For added comfort during efforts such as running or skiing, a top strap can be added for better support. The headband is ergonomically designed, however, and offers padding all around the head. Helmet-compatible.
