HydroBlu Versa Flow with Activated Carbon Filter

The Versa Flow with Activated Carbon Filter from American brand Hydroblu is a highly versatile water filter.

It has two parts:

• The hollow fibre filter (0.1 micron) which eliminates 99.999% of bacteria (salmonella, E.Coli, cholera...) and 99.99% of protozoa and micro-organisms. It has a service life of 378,000 litres.


• The activated carbon filter with ion exchange microbeads, which eliminates chemicals (pesticides, etc.), heavy metals (lead, zinc, etc.), pollution, as well as the colour and odour of the water. It lasts up to 100 litres.

The two elements bond together easily. When the activated carbon capsule is no longer functional, the Versa Flow can be used on its own.

This filter is highly versatile, yet compact and lightweight. It can be used :

• As a straw for drinking directly from the stream


• Attached to a plastic bottle or water bag with a 28 mm diameter cap (standard size)


• On the tube of a hydration bag


• Gravity filtration (possible with 2 bottles of water)

All this is possible thanks to its two openings with 28 mm screw threads and their colour code:

• The grey part for water to be treated


• The blue part for treated water that can be drunk
