Hydroblu Activated Carbon Filter

The Hydroblu Activated Carbon Filter is a module made up of activated carbon and ion exchange microbeads. The activated carbon adsorbs chemicals and heavy metals and improves the taste and colour of contaminated water. The ion exchange microbeads are an organic polymer substrate. These beads are porous, providing a large surface area for removing pollutants, toxins and heavy iron from water. Ion exchange replaces these negative ions with harmless ions, such as sodium and potassium.
