HydroBlu Versa Flow Inline Water Filter

The Versa Flow Inline Water Filter from American brand HudroBlu is an ultra-versatile water filter.

It can be used :

• As a straw for drinking directly from the stream


• Attached to a plastic bottle or water bag with a 28 mm diameter cap


• On the tube of a hydration bag


• Gravity filtration (possible with 2 bottles of water)

All this is possible thanks to its two openings

• The grey part for the water to be treated


• The blue part for drinking the filtered water (compatible with a 28 mm bottle or flask opening)

Versa Flow uses hollow fibre technology. All these tubes have a 0.1 micron diameter opening, so water can pass through but bacteria, micro-organisms and protozoa cannot. So 99.999999% of harmful bacteria and 99.999999% of Giardia, E. coli, protozoan cysts and Cryptosporidium are blocked by these hollow fibres.

To maintain its flow rate of around 1 l/min and its qualities, we recommend cleaning the filter regularly. This can be done by running 10 litres of drinking water against the current, using a bottle. This can extend the filter's service life to over 375,000 litres!
