Kahtoola's Exospikes are an anti-slip traction system that adds grip to your walking, hiking and trail shoes. These crampons offer good grip performance on icy roads, as well as on trails covered with compacted snow.
These lightweight crampons feature 12 tungsten carbide spikes that anchor in ice and hard-packed snow.
The durable thermoplastic polyurethane traction matrix engages fully on frozen and mixed (rock) terrain, with an open design that evacuates snow and adapts to a range of soft footwear. Designed to resist impact, the TPU traction matrix is lighter and more abrasion-resistant than steel.
The thermoplastic elastomer harness attaches easily to a wide range of boots, and retains its flexibility down to a temperature of -30°C.
