The PyraOmm Plus Tarp from Ukrainian brand Liteway is an ultra-lightweight enclosed tarp for 2 people. This single-wall shelter offers total protection from the rain. For insect protection, it can be combined with the PyraOmm Plus Full Mesh or PyraOmm Plus Half Mesh mosquito net chamber (sold separately).
This tarp has two large doors and two ventilation windows at the top. It's perfectly ventilated and very well suited to summer use. It can be assembled quickly using a pole or a hiking pole (not supplied) to be set at 160 centimetres, or 2 hiking poles. For assembly with 2 poles, you need an A-Frame connector (not supplied) to reach approximately 180/185 centimetres.
- With 2 poles 155/160 cm: requires 25 cm A-Frame Connector
- With 2 poles 145/150 cm: requires 35 cm A-Frame Connector
A minimum of six sardines (not supplied) and guy ropes complete the assembly.
The PyraOmm Plus Tarp is made from silpoly, a 20-denier silicone-coated polyester with a waterproof rating of 2000 millimetres. It's a tough, durable fabric that won't stretch with humidity. The tip of the hiking pole's pommel is reinforced with X-Pac. The zip on the double canopy is water-repellent and has a locking clip at the bottom.
The storage bag is waterproof and can be rolled up for a very small storage volume.
