Snugpak Softie Elite 3

The Softie Elite 3 sleeping bag from the English brand Snugpak is filled with synthetic fiber insulation. The Softie is a polyester fiber specially designed by the manufacturer for its military and tactical range. It is made with discontinuous superfine yarns to give a more random effect, some are curly, some are curly or left as they are. The random nature of the process results in a product that closely resembles the structure of natural insulation.

In the lining of the sleeping bag is the Reflectatherm metallized fabric. It reflects up to 15% of body heat and thus increases the insulating power of the Softie Elite 3. The outer and inner fabrics are 100% polyester. They are robust, light, very windproof, water-repellent and breathable (12 L / m² / 24h).

The length and width of the sleeping bag are adjustable. The end can be folded on itself and clipped to reduce the length. For the width, the Softie Elite 3 has a lateral extension thanks to its double zipper. The zipper on the outside gives the sleeping bag a width of 87.5 cm, the one on the inside gives a width of 75 cm. This system makes it possible to adapt the width according to your corpulence, but also to enlarge it if you were to sleep with bulky clothes during nights under -5°C, without being cramped.

The inside of the footbox has been reinforced to allow you to place your shoes at the bottom of the sleeping bag, so that they stay warm. The collar is well dimensioned and the hood has a drawstring. A chest pocket is located inside the sleeping bag.
