Snugpak Softie Elite 5

The Softie Elite 5 is a sleeping bag from the military and tactical range of the Snugpak brand. It is lined with an exclusive Softie polyester synthetic fiber. Made with discontinuous superfine yarns, some of which are curly, some of which are crimped or left as they are, giving it a random effect. This process results in a product that closely resembles the structure of natural insulators. In the lining there is also a metallized Reflectatherm fabric. This reflects about 15% of the body heat and thus increases the insulating capacity of the sleeping bag.

The cover of the Softie Elite 5 is made of a polyester Paratex fabric. Robust, light, very windproof, water-repellent, it has a breathability of 12 L/m²/24h. Inside, the footbox has been reinforced so that you can place your shoes at the bottom of the sleeping bag to keep them warm. The collar is well dimensioned and the hood has a drawstring. A chest pocket is located inside the sleeping bag.

The length and width of the sleeping bag are adjustable. At the feet, the end of the sleeping bag can be folded and clipped to shorten the overall length. For the width, the Softie Elite 5 has a side extension thanks to its double zipper. One on the outside gives the sleeping bag a width of 87.5 cm and one more on the inside for a width of 75 cm. This allows you to expand your sleeping bag if you have to sleep with bulky warm clothes on nights below -10°C, without being cramped.
